The teen years are some of the hardest years in life for everyone! And being a teen today is harder than it has ever been. It comes with overwhelming expectations and responsibilities.

Whether it is surviving school and social pressures, understanding intense and confusing emotions, managing relationships, overcoming trauma or struggling with finding healthy ways to cope  - there is a lot to balance. It can leave you feeling embarrassed, out of control, self-conscious, isolated, unworthy - like no one else could possibly understand what you are going through. AND these years can also be filled with joy, growth, creativity, exploration, and discovery.  Having someone to talk to can make all the difference. 

Supporting you through this complicated time in life is what we do best. We will work together as you learn to build self-awareness, identify the obstacles that are standing in your way, and develop concrete skills to create the life you wish for yourself.

You are not here because there is something "wrong" with you,

nor because there is something about you that needs "to be fixed". 

Being here is does not mean that you are in trouble, nor is it a sign of weakness.

Ask your therapist your questions, find out what you can expect from your therapist, make your therapist work for and prove their trustworthiness to you... and if it feels like a good fit we will talk about ways to move forward, and if not, (don't worry, we never take it personally!) we can share with you other referrals for phenomenal therapists in our community.
